Regular Savings

Regular Savings is designed as a low minimum balance savings account (call 754-2561 for today’s rates).

This account pays a competitive rate with a low minimum balance of $100. The interest is compounded and credited to your account at the end of each quarter. A maintenance fee will apply if the balance falls below the required minimum on a monthly basis.*

You are limited to six withdrawals per month or a small fee per withdrawal will apply.

Savings Planner Option: You have the option to choose a per-selected amount that would be deposited to this account in planning for your financial future. You determine the amount that is automatically added to this account each month from your checking account at SSB.

* Does not apply to children 18 years of age and under.

Money Market Savings

Money Market Savings account is designed for those who would like to have a higher interest rate than what is being earned on a regular savings account (call 754-2561 for today’s rate).

This investment account is designed for depositors who want to have the accessibility to their funds during the month.

It earns a tiered interest rate and offers the convenience of six withdrawals a month. Interest will be compounded and credited to your account every month.

If balance falls below the $ 2,500 (the average collected balance required) there is a monthly maintenance fee imposed.

Savings Planner Option: You have the option to choose a pre-selected amount that would be deposited to this account in planning for your financial future. You determine the amount of savings that is automatically added to this account each month from your checking account SSB.

Money Market Extra

Money Market Extra account is designed for those who maintain a higher daily balance and would like to earn the highest rate of interest on their money. (Call 712-754-2561 for today’s rates).

This investment is designed to pay you the highest rate of interest on a savings account.

If you fall below the required minimum balance during the month, you will be charged a service charge. You are limited to six (6) withdrawals per month. Three of these withdrawals can be made by check to third parties.

Interest will be compounded and credited to your account every month.
